Water-saving Technology of Flue Gas Dehumidification and White Elimination
The dehumidification and whitening of flue gas are matched according to the requirements of local governments, and the main purpose is to reduce the moisture content in the flue gas and the water vapor carried away in the wet flue gas discharge while dehumidifying and whitening, so as to achieve the purpose of water saving.
Main Content
After wet desulfurization, the saturated wet flue gas discharged from the chimney comes into contact with the ambient air with low temperature. During the flue gas cooling process, the water vapor contained in the flue gas is supersaturated and condensed, and the condensed water droplets first refract and scatter the light, thus making the plume appear white or gray, which is called "wet plume" (commonly known as "white smoke").

Flow Chart
The probability of white smoke in the north is higher than that in the south, and the probability of white smoke in Winter > autumn ≈ spring > summer.
The greater the relative humidity of the environment, the more difficult it is to spread smoke, and the more difficult it is to control white smoke.
In essence, the "white smoke plume" site is water mist produced by condensation of water vapor in wet flue gas, which will not pollute the environment, and the total amount of pollutants discharged from dry flue gas is the same.
When wet flue gas is discharged, the lifting height of flue gas will decrease, which will affect its diffusion effect, and the ground concentration near the chimney will increase.
